- Mrs. Edna Minks Leonard, age 91, of Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at her residence.
Mrs. Leonard was a native of Johnson County. She was the daughter of the late Ross M. Minks and Ida Heck Minks. In addition to her parents, her husband, Linkes J. Leonard; one brother, James E. Minks; also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Leonard was a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Nina Lee Green and Ella M. Minks; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Edna Minks Leonard will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, April 5, 2013, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Pastor Lon Tobin will officiate.
The graveside committal service will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be nephews.
