- Ernest Deloach, Jr. age 65, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. Junior was a lifelong resident of Clintwood and the son of the late Ernest and Icy Deloach. He worked for many years for the Town of Clintwood and was a member of Mountain View Freedom of Worship Church. Junior enjoyed watching professional wrestling, John Wayne westerns and Waylon Jennings. He loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob, Jack, Billy and Danny Deloach and one sister, Ruby Reynolds.
Survivors include two brothers, Tommy Deloach of Clintwood and Lawrence Deloach of North Carolina; special nephew, Mike Reynolds and Rhonda of Bishop, Virginia; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; special friends, Gary Hull, Tim and Kitty Mullins, Judy Steele and staff of Clintwood Town Hall and members of Mountain View Freedom of Worship Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 25th, 2 pm at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Mullins and Larry Younce officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 pm. Burial will follow at the Deloach Family Cemetery, Soggy Bottom Road, Clintwood. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
