  	A memorial graveside service for Robert Earl and Ollie Whiteaker Ellis will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2005, in the Whiteaker Family Cemetery, off Jonesboro Road on Waylon Drive in the Spring Creek community, with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Robert E. Ellis was the son of the late Rev. W.M. and Luvinia Ellis. Ollie Whiteaker Ellis was the daughter of the late C.A. and Ollie Whiteaker.   	Ollie Whiteaker & Earl Ellis, accompanied by Irene Ellis (sister of Earl) and Zack Johnston (later married to Irene) first went to Abingdon, VA to get married. Ollie was only 20 years old and Earl thought that since her father was the deputy sheriff of Washington County they would be able to be married there. They were told she was underage. They then went to Bristol, TN where they were married in a Presbyterian Church. When Ollie was asked her age, Earl said 21 before she was able to respond.
