MRS. ALICE WAGNER
Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Wagner, 79, who died at her residence at Maymead, Tenn., Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock after a lingering illness, were conducted from the residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. E. A. Cox of Elizabethton, assisted by the Rev. W. W. Worley of Vaughtsville. Burial was in the family cemetery near Shouns.
Pallbearers and flower bearers were selected from friends and neighbors.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sara Davis, of Shouns, and Mrs. Cora Roberson of Elizabethton; one son, R. H. Wagner of Meadow View, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Donnelly, of Shouns; 12 grandchildren: Robert, Ed, Nelle, and Mary Alice Wagner, all of Meadow View, Va.; Mrs. Toy Roe and Paul Price of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Dr. H. T. Price of Knoxville, Clayton C. Price of Chicago, John Wagner of York, Pa., Frances Wagner, Newark, N.J., and Mrs. C. C. Cress of Greeneville, Tenn. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Fred, Hugh and Wanda Lee Roe, all of Elizabethton, and Kermit Cress of Greeneville.
Mrs. Wagner was the widow of the late T. L. Wagner, of Neva, Tenn.
