I.N. Reece. . .
I.N. Reece, age 68, Route 8, Johnson City, died in Johnson City Memorial Hospital last Tuesday morning, August 31. He died after an illness of three weeks.
A native of Johnson County, he had lived in Carter County for 27 years.
He was a son of the late D.L. and Catherine Ward Reece, and a retired employe[sic] of the North American Rayon Corp. He was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church where he was a deacon.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Snyder Reece; two brothers, H.W. Reece, Neva community; A.E. Reece, Elizabethton; and three sisters, Mrs. Andy Allen, Rt. 5, Elizabethton; Mrs. D.W. Black, Kingsport, Mrs. W.F. Humphrey, Elizabethton.
Funeral services were conducted from Pinecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Cohen Arms and Rev. Ed Brumett officiating. Burial was in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Kermit Randolph, Jim Baker, Frank Byrd, E.B. Tolliver, Bill Garland, T.J. Sparks, Paul Owen and Paul D. Renfro.
