MRS. HYDER DIES FROM SEVERAL WEEKS' ILLNESS
Mrs. Florence Treadway Hyder, aged 61, died this morning at six o'clock after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Hyder was the widow of the late Robert L. Hyder and a member of a prominent family of [illegible] Creek section of this county and was a member of the Gap Creek Christian church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ed Meredith and Mrs. Ray Woodby of Gap Creek; two grandchildren, Lee Joe and Tony Meredith; three sisters, Mrs. Wesley Ellis of Johnson City, Mrs. Ed Anderson and Mrs. Earnest Atterberry of Akron, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home Wednesday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock with Rev. John Shepherd, the Rev. John Meredith, John Hall and Thomas Grey officiating. Burial will be made in the Hyder Cemetery.
