- She was the daughter of the late Elbert and Zollie Wyatt Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Garrison, in 1969, and by three sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Garrison had lived in Elizabethton for a number of years. She was a cook for a number of years at Regency Health Care and Ivy Hall Nursing Home. She was a member of Valley Forge Christian Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Alta Kathleen Garrison, 90, 119 School House Road, Elizabethton, who died Monday, November 5, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, November 8, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Clay Bailey and Mr. Don Rutherford, ministers, officiating. Music will be provided by Joel Crisp. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, November 9, at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
