CLAUDE GRINDSTAFF
Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Grindstaff, 38, wife of Claude E. Grindstaff, who died yesterday at her home at Watauga Valley, will be conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. And Mrs. A. B. Williams in Watuaga Valley, with the Rev. C. Y. Elkins in charge.
Survivors of the deceased are the husband; three sons, Harold, Wesley and A. B. Grindstaff; four daughters, Mrs. Dewey Williams, Mrs. Annie Lee Carden, Mabel and June Grindstaff; her parents, Mr. And Mrs. A. B. Williams; five brothers, Albert, Dewey, Lonnie, Rex and Theodore Williams; five sisters, Mrs. Jo Ella Hodge, Mrs. Flossie Williams, Mrs. Violet Branch, Mrs. Georgia Lewis and Miss Pearl Williams; also two grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be cousins, Walter Carrier, Gray Carrier, Glen Williams, Coy Williams, Floyd Williams, Lester Frazier, Fred Frazier, Gilbert Hardin, Lon Frazier, Roy Frazier and Mike Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will include brothers-in-law of the deceased, Conley Hodge, Will Branch, Clyde Williams, Bernie Lewis, John Peters, Jess Nidiffer, M. C. Williams, J. W. Carrier, Joe Grindstaff, James Grindstaff, and Tilman Grindstaff.
Flower bearers will be cousins and sisters-in-law, Buena Williams, Ethel Williams, Mary Williams, Novella Williams, Lena Williams, Kathleen Williams, Pansy Carrier, and Hazel Sutphin
