DEATHS
Mrs. Rose Espie Wolfe, 72, of Rt. 1, Butler, (Cowan Town Community) died in Johnson City Memorial Hospital, Sunday, 6:30 p.m. after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Johnson County, widow of the late Mack Wolfe (deceased May 9, 1966), and a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Wolfe, Columbia, S. C., Lawrence Wolfe, Butler, and Mack Wolfe, Jr., Decatur, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Spencer Gregg, Butler; 13 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were conducted from Sugar Grove Baptist Church Wednesday, 2 p.m., with Rev. Kermit Combs and Rev. Lawrence Hagaman officiating. Burial was in Cowan Cemetery.
Pall-bearers[sic] were friends and neihbors[sic].
Flower-bearers were ladies of the church and neighbors.
