He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Tradae[sic]; and a retired farmer. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. John H. Michael; five daughters, Mrs. Irene Wagner, Mountain City, Mrs. Ralph Sluder of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Ella Tester, Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Tom Copple, Arlington, Ind. and Mrs. Lou Gibson of Macon, Ga.; two sons, Clifford Michael, Newport, Ky., and Wilson Michael, West Grove, Pa.; 25 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at friendship Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12 with Rev. Greer and Rev. Tucker officiating.
