Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner, 84,
died at the home of a son Malcolm F. Whiteaker, Sunday morning after a brief illness.
She was a native of Washington County, Va., and had lived at Mountain City for 44 years before going to Aingdon[sic] 6 weeks ago to make her home with her son.
Surviving besides the son are stepson, Paul M. Wagner, Dallas, Tex.; three step-daughtres[sic], Mrs. Edith Ball, Middlesburg, Va., Mrs. Lucille Thomas, Mountain City and Mrs. Kathleen Mast, Damascus, Va.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday in the Campbell Funeral Home Chapel at Abingdon, Va., with Dr. W.R. Rollins officiating. Burial was in Knolkreg Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Joe Branson, Joe Whiteaker, Bill Rush, Gilbert Wilson, Joe Moore, Charlie Marsh, Henry Satterwhite and Marshall Lowe.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
