  Notes	"Elizabethton Star," Friday, March 20, 1931 MRS. SARAH HEATON Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Heaton, 39, wife of Squire E. F. Heaton, of Roan Mountain, who died at the home Tuesday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock as the result of an attack of pneumonia, were held at the Roan Mountain Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. Matney in charge, assisted by the Rev. O. A. Lawson and the Rev. J. L. Gray. Interment followed in the Johnson Cemetery. Friends were in attendance at the funeral from Elizabethton, Johnson City, Mountain City, North Carolina points, and other sections of east Tennessee, who crowded the church to more than capacity and presented a floral offering said to be one of the most elaborate ever witnessed in Roan Mountain. Mrs. Heaton was an active and ardent member of the Methodist church. The deceased is survived by her husband, Squire E. F. Heaton; three sons, Frank, James, and Harry Heaton of Roan Mountain; and four daughters, Corrine, Anna, Belle, Betty Sue, and Helen Louise, of Roan Mountain.
