- Mary Esther Williams Estep, 83, 121 House of Prayer Road, Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord Thursday, June 19, 2008 at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Robert T. and Belva Caroline Emmert Williams.
She was a 1944 graduate of Elizabethton High School, was a former employee of The Bemberg Corporation. She was owner and operator of the Valley Forge Floral Shop for several years. Mrs. Estep was a Charter Member of the Valley Forge House of Prayer, where she had served as organist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Estep, April 1, 2007; by four sisters: Edna Poff, Dorothy Perry, Elsie Bradley and Sylvia Street; and two brothers, Gene and George Williams.
Survivors include two sons: Douglas Estep, Elizabethton, and Lynn Estep, of the home. Five Grandchildren: Chris, Landon, Josh, Matt and Mark Regan; Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Valley Forge House of Prayer with the Rev. Jerry Emert and Rev. Darryl Bailey officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Williams Family Cemetery with the Rev. Dallas Gregg officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. Roy Burchette.
Active Pallbearers will be: Matthew Estep, Josh Estep, Landon Estep, Chris Estep, Mark Williams, Johnny Chambers and Roger Odom. Honorary Pallbearers will be Her church family and employees of McCloud Lumber Company.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Valley Forge House of Prayer. Friends may call at the Fellowship Hall of the church anytime Saturday or Sunday.
Family and friends will assemble at the church at 10:40 a.m. Monday to go to the cemetery.
