DEATHS
James Garfield Robinson, 83, of Rt. 1, Butler, Doeville Community, died Thursday, 11:30 a.m., at his residence from an apparent heart attack. He was a native of Johnson County, a son of the late James H. and Susan Dunn Robinson. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Little Doe Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mollie T. Robinson, Butler; two step-sons, Hensley Clark, Hampton, and Manard Clark, Kingsport; three granddaughters; several niece and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, 2 p.m., from the Little Doe Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tom Biggar and Rev. Richmond Barnette to officiate. Burial was in the Rambo Cemetery.
Pall-bearers[sic] were friends and neighbors.
Flower-bearers were ladies of the church and neighbors.
Lewis Gentry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
