I, Elizabeth Dugger, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament being of sound mind and memory.
First, I give and bequeath my body to the earth from whence it came and my soul to God who gave it.
Second I give and bequeath to my Nephews Daniel S. Vanhuss and Joseph P. Vanhuss all my tract of land lying on Watauga River now containing by estimation thirty nine acres be the same more or less. I require the said Daniel S. Vanhuss and Joseph P. Vanhuss to pay to Thomas D. Vanhuss my nephew and he being their brother, Seventy five dollars when they the same Daniel S. and Joseph P. Vanhuss shall have taken possession of my land after my death.
Third, I give to my niece Rhoda E. Vanhuss one bed stead and feather bed and appertances belonging to the same. Fourth. I do hereby declare this to be my last Will and testament hereby revoking all other and appoint the said Daniel S. Vanhuss and Joseph P. Vanhuss my executors and require them to pay my funeral expenses. This 22 day of Nov 1866. Elizabeth x Dugger (her mark) (seal)
