- Aileen Tolly - KINGSPORT
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 KINGSPORT — Aileen Delano “Lana” Tolly, 72, of Kingsport, went to be with her Lord and Savior early Tuesday morning (November 29, 2005). She was a committed Christian and an encouragement to family and friends. She attended Kingsley United Methodist Church. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. She is preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Lowe. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Marvin “T” Tolly; two daughters, Dottie Beard and her husband, Fred Beard, and Sheryl Begley and her husband, Richard Begley; one son, Marvin E. Tolly and wife, Tisha Tolly; seven grandchildren, Jaime Williams, Angie McClain, Zack Beard, Kelly Begley, Aaron Robinette, Evvan Tolly and Megan Tolly; six great grandchildren; two close loving sisters, Dot Flanary and Martha Jane Howell; and one brother, Bill Colvard. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2005, at Kingsley United Methodist Church, 2828 Bloomingdale Pike. Services will follow at 8:00 PM with Reverend Ray Amos and Reverend Joe Campbell officiating. Music will be provided by Chuck Odom and family and friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 am Friday, December 2nd, at Veterans National Cemetery, Mountain Home. Pallbearers will be Coach Richard Carroll, Coach Mike Sutton, Aaron Robinette, Evvan Tolly, Jamie Williams and Neil Flanary. Honorary pallbearers are Ruritan friends. Family would like to thank all family and friends who have provided love and support. They would also like to thank Dr. Shipstone and the nurses at Holston Valley, 3rd Floor Oncology Wilcox Hall. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the charity of your choice.
