- Mr Stout was the son of the late Sam and Ethel Garland Stout. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
He was a lifetime member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a Sunday School teacher for 45 years.
He worked as a carpenter for 50 years before retiring. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
The funeral service was conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Lynn Valley Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Burial followed the funeral service at Happy Valley Memorial Park.

Hazel Branch, Lona Cunningham
and Mary Greene, all of Butler;
grandchildren, Jeff Vaughn,
Douglas’ Jonathan Stout
and Stout all Morristown,
and great grandchildren, Allison,
Dylan and Lane and Ethan
Stout. Several nieces and
nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be conducted
at 3 pm. Saturday, April 3,
2004 at Lynn Valley Baptist
Church, with Rev.
Bob Reed and Rev. Dennls Wilson Music will bc under
the direction of Bill Greene, Burial
