- HAMLIN - Mary Pat Young Dytri, 90, died Sunday at an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Neinda Cemetery with the Rev.
Loren Gardner officiating, directed by Foster-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dytri was born in Boyd Chapel and graduated from Anson High School. She
attended North Texas State University and Draughon's Business College. She
lived in Abilene, Mineral Wells and Colorado Springs, Colo., before returning
to Boyd Chapel in 1971. She was a secretary and a homemaker and worked in the
restaurant business. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a
past officer of Ladies' Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2012. She
was past district president and state president of the Ladies' Auxiliary.
Survivors include two brothers, Burl "Bakey" Young of Duncan, Okla., and
Tootie Young of Grand Saline; and several nieces and nephews.
