- Mrs. Dimple Lee Lewis Anderson, age 86, Washington College Station Rd., Limestone, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007, at the Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson was a native of Avery County, North Carolina, and the daughter of the late Lum & Abby Taylor Lewis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Anderson, in 2005; two sisters, Nettie Susong and Odee Buchanan; and two brothers, R.T. Lewis and A.D. Lewis.
She had been a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Mrs. Anderson had worked for Green's Manufacturing as a seamstress and had retired in her late seventies from Plus Mart. She was an avid quilter.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Swanita Elaine & Don Mynatt, Seymour, TN, and Mildred "Millie" H. Anderson, Greeneville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Joseph "Joey" Anderson and Gary L. & Beth Anderson, all of Limestone; two brothers, Rev. T.F. Lewis, Jonesborough, and J.L. Lewis, Knoxville; one sister, Victoria Harrison, Greeneville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor David Tydings officiating. The body will lie in state 1/2 hour prior to service time. Interment services will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery .
Pallbearers will be Charlie Anderson, Trevor Mynatt , David Anderson, Michael Anderson, Pascal Lewis, Billy Lewis, Don Barnette, Bruce Buchanan, Rick Lewis, Dodge Lewis and Roby McBride.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
