- Mrs. Rebecca Bell STOUT, 89, died at her home in Big Stone Gap, Virginia at 1:30 pm Monday morning following a lingering illness.
She was born and spent her early life in Carter Co., Tennessee and had been a resident of Wise Co. for the last 20 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. C. T. GARRISON, Mrs. Ralph BUSHMAN, and Miss Kate STOUT, all of Big Stone, two sons, Robert STOUT of Appalachia and Green STOUT of Big Stone Gap, one brother, William HARDING of Elizabethton, 10 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren.
