- ELIZABETHTON — Roma Jean Creasey Deloach, 71, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday March 15, 2012, in the Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm Walter and Modest Greene Creasey. She was a graduate of Hampton High School. Roma Jean was a member of the Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel E. Deloach, May 14, 1995; and by a brother: J.D. Creasey.
Survivors include a Sister & Brother-In-Law: Shirley & Larry Carver, Fairview, North Carolina; A Brother & Sister-in-Law: Glen & Billie Creasey, Elizabethton; Five Nieces & Nephews: Nathan Carver and Wife, Wendey, Douglas Creasey & Wife, Glenni, Nikki Vines and Husband, Bill, Eric Creasey and Teresa Lynn Merkel.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Johnson and Rev. Mark Potter officiating.
Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Melissa Hall, Soloist.
Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 2:20 p.m. Sunday will be: Nathan Carver, Doug Creasey, Carl Roberson, Sam Harrison, John Crockett, Billy Vines, Joel Elijah and Ken Rose.
The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to Judy & Victor Deloach and the Staff of Ivy Hall Nursing Home for the excellent care Roma Jean received.
