WILLIAM D. MOREFIELD
William Daniel Morefield, 80, died at his home in Neva today at 6:16 a.m. after a long illness. He was a member of the Christian Church of Neva.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Morefield; two sons, Connie G. Morefield of Elizabethton and Ira Morefield of Lundale, West Virginia; two grandchildren, one great grandchild; one brother, Joe Morefield of Neva and one sister, Mrs. Johnnie Stout of Doeville.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Church in Neva with the Rev. Earl Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Happy Valley Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Homer Farthing, Claude Kidd, Stewart Winkler, Tom Redmond, Joe Wilson and S. S. Stout.
Flower bearers will be selected from friends at the services.
The body will remain in the chapel of the Tetrick Funeral Home until 12:00 noon Thursday when it will be taken to the church.
