- Jewel Chambers, 82, 232 Coal Chute Road, Elizabethton, died unexpectedly Monday, March 19, 2001, at her residence. Mrs. Chambers was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Harry and Celia Smith Adams. Mrs. Chambers attended Doe River Baptist Church. She was a former employee of North American Rayon Corporation and was a homemaker.
CHAMBERS -- Funeral services for Jewel Chambers, 82, 232 Coal Chute Road, Elizabethton, who died Monday, March 19, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. Fred Wade and the Rev. Mickey Beal officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Caldwell Springs Cemetery.
