- Betty "Ilene" Leonard, age 69, of 204 Booher Lane, Bristol, VA, went to be with The Lord Saturday, April 9, 2005, at her residence.
Ilene was born March 8, 1936 in Bristol, VA, a daughter of the late Thomas and Lottie Almany Trivett. She lived in the Bristol area all her life.
She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Wayne Leonard, one brother, and two sisters.
Survivors Include:
Her Daughter: Teresa Lucas and husband Mike of Bluff City, TN
Her Sons: Gary Thomas Leonard and Paula Cheathum of Bristol, TN; Steve Martin Leonard and wife Diana of Bristol,
One Sister: Colene Ross of Bristol, TN
And One Brother: Bobby Trivett of Bristol, VA
Also surviving are nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Leonard will be held at 8PM on Monday, April 11, 2005 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Dillard officiating.
The visitation will also be held Monday from 6 to 7:45PM prior to the service.
The committal service will be held at 11AM Tuesday morning, in the Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, Virginia.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. John Green, Darrell of Resp-I-Care, and nieces & nephews.
