JOHN H. HEATON
John H. Heaton, age 82, died suddenly at his home, Siam, Sunday morning at 6:00 o'clock.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Siam Baptist church Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with the Rev. H. C. Hopkins officiating. Interment will be in the Lacy cemetery, at Blevins, Tenn.
Survivors: two daughters, Mrs. Warner Shell, and Mrs. John L. Heaton, Carter County; four sisters, Mrs. Rhooda[sic] Collins, Mrs. Abbie Bowers, Mrs. Rebecca Glover and Miss Nancy Heaton, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
Pall bearers: O. F. White, Brenton Randolph, Belvic Heaton, Cecil VanHuss, Isaac Grindstaff, Stewart Edwards, Butler Hardin and Isaac Campbell.
Flower bearers will be selected from friends at the funeral.
