ANDREW J. FORRESTER
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Thursday Sept. 1 for Andrew J. Forrester, 85, who died Tuesday Aug. 30. Rev. Paul Mabry and Rev. A. E. Browne were in charge. Burial was made in Phillippi Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Smith, Walter Reece, Claude Cress, Earl Wills, Morris Cress, and Glen Holden. The body was taken to the home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 where it remained until 12:30 p.m. Thursday when it was taken to the church.

ANDREW J. FORRESTER
Andrew Johnson Forrester, 88, died at his home on Route 1, Mountain City today at 2:10 a.m. after a two months illness. He had been in poor health for the past two years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Liberty Christian Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lola Forrester; three sons, Ray of Asheville, N.C., John of the home and Darius of Mountain City; four daughters, Mrs. Floe Simpson of Asheville, N.C., Mrs. Lucy Gentry of Bordell, West Virginia, Mrs. Georgia Shutt of Lilly Brook, West Virginia, and Miss Faye Forrister of the home; one sister, Mrs. Betty Ward of Carderview; and 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements, which are incomplete, are under the direction of the Tetrick Funeral Home.
