- ELIZABETHTON — Jack C. Campbell, 81, 130 Earl Avenue, Elizabethton, died Sunday, June 25, 2006 in the Hermitage Health Care Center.
A native of Johnson County, he was the son of the late John Frank and Rosa Ward Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a member of Stout Hill Church of Christ and a retired logger. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Irick Campbell; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol Ann and John Guin, and Edith Guy of Elizabethton and Lisa and Gary Potter of Hudson, N.C.; three grandsons, Jason and Joshua Potter and Jonathan Guin. Two brothers, Joe Campbell of Hampton and Jim Campbell of Butler.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2006 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. David Irick officiating. Graveside and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2006 in Whitehead Cemetery. Music will be provided by the Laurel Creek Trio.
Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday will be: Jason Potter, Joshua Potter, John Guin, Gary Potter, Eddie Clawson and Donnie Cable. Honorary Pallbearers will be friends of the family, members of Stout Hill Church of Christ, special co-workers, Dagil Moody and Paul Clawson.
The family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. Thursday in the chapel prior to the service hour. Friends may also call at the residence at any time. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday. Military honors will be provided by the Tennessee National Guard.
