On May 22, 1725 ROBERT HILL was granted 160 acres on south side Fountains Creek, Northampton Co., North Carolina. (Moved to North Carolina). On October 14, 1737 Robert Hill deeded to THOMAS DELOACH JR. 80 acres of his grant land. On the same day DELOACH deeded the same property to THOMAS TARVER. (Roach, Roberts, Ridgeway, and Allied Families, by Marielou Roach Fair)* prob an error - appears to refer to 1747 transaction.
