- Josephine Williams Hodges, 98, formerly of 124 Mayflower Road, Johnson City, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000, at Hermitage Health Center, Elizabethton, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Hodges was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Abraham B. and Loretta Frazier Williams. She was also preceded in
death by her husband, Conley L. Hodges, in 1977, a son, five brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Hodges had lived in Washington County for 70 years. She had been a homemaker and was a Charter Member of the Watauga Valley Free Will
Baptist Church.
HODGES -- Graveside services for Josephine Williams Hodges, 98, formerly of 124 Mayflower Road, Johnson City, who passed away Wednesday, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Monte Vista Burial Park.
