Death Notice
ROBERTS— Dollie, died following lingering illness, Tuesday morning at 2 a.m. at her home, 206 Cottage Avenue. Funeral services Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from Free Will Baptist church here, the Rev. J. C. Howington and the Rev. E. L. Edens officiating. Burial in Treadway Cemetery. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ham Kyte; four sons, Ben F. Treadway, Charley H. Treadway, George Roberts, all of Elizabethton and Blane Roberts of Elk Horn City, Ky.; 27 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Fowler, Knoxville; two brothers, Charlie Williams, Jonesboro and Ham Williams, Elizabethton. A member of the Free Will Baptist church at Charity Hill. Active pallbearers: Tracy Kyte, Clifton Kyte, Earl Kyte, James Treadway, Charles Treadway, Harold Nave. Flower bearers will be the granddaughters. Body will be returned to the home Tuesday at 5 p.m. Roy Hathaway Funeral Home in charge.
