- Elizabeth Mae Culler, 84, of Route 4, Elizabethton, died at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday in the Carter County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Culler was a native of North Carolina having lived most of her life in Tennessee. She was a member of the Upper Gap Creek Freewill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Culler, in 1934.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Marylyn Emmert, Mrs. Dorothy Radford, Mrs. Ruth Morton, all of Route 4, Elizabethton, and Mrs. Ana Lee White of Elizabethton; five sons, James Robert Culler of Church Hill, William Oliver Culler of Route 1, Hampton, Edward Ray Culler of Richmond, Virginia, Lee Roy Culler of Pontiac, Michigan, and Floyd Culler, Jr. of Pensacola, Florida; a brother, Carol Holtsclaw of Fordtown, Tennessee; 40 grandcildren; 41 great-grandchildren.
