- June Irene Wagner, 90, of Butler, Tenn., went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Paul Trivett and Edith Berry.
June was a very loving and kind person whose world revolved around her grandson. She loved animals of all kinds and always kept deer feed and bird seed on hand. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and canning. June was a member of Little Milligan Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wagner; sister, Ruby Lewis; and grandsons, Steven, John and Michael.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Judy Peters; son, Michael Wagner and wife Lisa; grandson, Matthew Wagner and girlfriend Courtnie; special friends, Clara Simerly and Martha Courtner; two step-grandchildren, Brianna and Destiny Jones; great-grandchild, Tori Bown; Tyler Blevins (who was like a grandson to her); and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to honor the life of June Irene Wagner will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, in the Lake View Cemetery, Butler, Tenn., with Pastor Sammy Icenhour officiating. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Taylor, Mike Clawson, Craig Julian, Shane Pennington, Allen Matheson, Tyler Blevins and Matthew Wagner. Honorary pallbearer is Clarence “Bud” Lewis. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Franklin Woods Community Hospital and especially the security guard for all their loving care and support during this difficult time.
