- She was the daughter of the late Brownlow Sheets and Ethel Lyons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arvy Carr and Eugene M. Taylor; one son, Fred Carr; one brother; five sisters; a grandson, Steven Carr; two infant grandchildren; and several half brothers and half sisters.
Mrs. Taylor had worked for 10 years at Levi Strauss and Company and had also worked at Quik Cleaners.
She was a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church and loved gardening, flowers, quilting, sewing and loved to read her bible.
