- ERWIN - Thomas Matthew Chatman, Sr., age 84, of Erwin, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late James Frank and Mary Carder Chatman. Mr. Chatman enjoyed golfing and getting hamburgers with his beloved dog Susie. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his brothers Jack, Roy, Bill, and J.R. Chatman and sisters Mary Sue Edwards, Linda Tony, and Kathryn Dye.
Tom has left behind to cherish his memories; Children: Matt Chatman and wife Melissa, of Chuckey, TN, Kenny and wife Leslie of Franklin; Grandchildren: Jessie Chatman and fiancé Adam of Spring Hill, Zach, Ryder, Bodee, Rigsy Chatman all of Franklin. Sister: Carolyn Culberson of Chattanooga.
