- FLAG POND - Worley Gene Silvers 79, of Flag Pond TN passed away February 9th after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Thor & Florence Silvers. Worley was a carpenter by trade, he and his brother built many beautiful homes in Unicoi county and surrounding areas. Worley enjoyed fishing, listening to music and dancing. Worley had a green thumb when it came to gardening. He was blessed with many talents.
Worley is survived by his long-time companion and best friend, who never left his side Gail Randolph, his children Bobby Silvers of Flag Pond, Stephany Collins and husband Bill of Erwin, Tyson Silvers of Erwin , Austin Silvers of Erwin. Several grandchildren and 1 Great grandchild.
It was his wish to be cremated and family will have a grave side service held at a later date to be announced.
