- ELIZABETHTON - Evelyn Harris Hinkle, 80 of Elizabethton died on Monday, December 12, 2022 at her residence. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Hubert and Regina Carver Harris.
Evelyn was a supervising RN at the Johnson City Medical Center for many years.
She attended the East Side Free Will Baptist Church.
Evelyn enjoyed her flower garden and taking care of her cats Precious and Charlie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Larry Hinkle; a son, Brian Kirk Hinkle; a grandson, Ryan Hinkle; three brothers and a sister.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Larry Hinkle and two special friends, Phil Perkins and Brent Heath.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Mausoleum Chapel at Happy Valley Memorial Park under the direction of Pastor Michael Lyons, special music provided by Karen Lyons.
