- George M. Miller, son of Pinkney and Sarah Eisenhour Miller, was born February 13, 1910 in Zionville, N. Car., and died April 14, 1987, at this farm home near Munden, at the age of 77 years, two months and one day.
He received his elementary education in the Trade, Tenn., Public Schools. He was united in marriage to Iva L. Bowers on July 18, 1945 at Concordia.
He moved to Kansas in 1938 and to Belleville in 1943. He was employed by Melton Motor Company as a mechanic. He was engaged in farming since 1951. He was baptized in the Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, four brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons, Loyd Miller of Carlsbad, N. M., Roy L. Miller of Bluff City, Tenn., one daughter, Mrs. George (Mary E) Carr of Sevierville, Tenn.; three brothers, Benjamin, Clyde and Ivey Miller of Johnson county, Tenn; three sisters, Sue Smith of Lenora, N. Car., Bertha Woodard of Trade, Tenn.; Mae Manuel of Mountain City, Tenn; six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Memorial Chapel of Belleville, on April 17, conducted by Pastor Wendell Mohler. Interment was in Ida Cemetery.
