- Robinson S. Williams, 69, 171 George Williams Road, Elizabethton, died in the Johnson City Medical Center, Friday morning, Oct. 7, 2005. A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late Will and Ethel Ingram Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Richardson; and a brother, Buddy Williams. Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Charlotte Williams of the home and Pansy and Clyde Watts of Elizabethton; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Elwayne and Linda Williams of Elizabethton and Lucion Williams of Mt. Laguna, Calif.; and seven nieces and six nephews.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, in the Caldwell Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Robinson officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Norman Peters, Roger Richardson, Doug Buckles, Roscoe Peters, Jerry Hyder, Joe Colbaugh, Robert Johnson, Edward Ensor and Will Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Taylor, Berly Hyder, Berly Whitehead, Jerry Weaver, Main Nave, Robert "Pete" Lee and Clyde Buckles.
