  Notes	Donald F. Bowers, age 74, passed away December 21, 2021 at Holston Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Bowers was the son of the late Ethel Bowers of Elizabethton TN. Mr. Bowers is survived by his wife Rena Bowers, two step-children Keith Rice and wife Tina, and Tina Balthis and husband Buck. Four grandchildren Aleigha, Amy,Mark and Trey. Seven great-grandchildren Hunter, Faith Ann, Colton, Lucus, Kaeson, Everleigh and Victoria. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 10,2022 at Bethany Baptist Church 162 Bethany Church Rd. Jonesborough, TN.37659. Visitation is from 2:00pm-3:00pm and the service will be from 3:00pm-4:00pm. Rev. Ed McClain will be officiating and the music by Kelly Anderson.
