According to Jackie's records, Perlina's parents were George R. Oliver and Susannah White. His GEDCOM has been imported to show the ancestry of Perlina. The records of Albert Grindstaff, Independence, Missouri, also lists this same lineage. 8318 The parents of Isaac Faulkner(Folkner, Forkner) are not known with any certainty. In the 1800 Surry County, NC, census, one of the following Heads of Households is probably Isaacs father: <10 10-16 16-26 26-45 45> FOLKNER Joseph2 1 Isaac 2 1 John 1 1 It is assumed that the above listed Isaac is Isaac's father, but it should be noted that the first born male of that family was named Joseph. Isaac Forkner was a Methodist minister, serving in North Carolina, East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. A campground in Scott County, VA, is named after him. A sketch of his life is found in 'History of Methodism in the Holston Conference', byIsaac Patton Martin. 8319 The party in heaven got a lot more lively when Geraldine Stout Wallace Kindelon passed through the pearly gates on February 2, 2022, after a brief illness. Geri was born in Elizabethton, Tenn., to John and Lela Stout on August 9, 1941. She moved with her husband to East Cobb in 1972 and lovingly raised two sons, Alton Wallace Jr (Stacie) and Nathan Wallace (Carolyn). As a single mother working her way up from teller to loan officer at C&S Bank and ultimately retiring from Bank of America, Geri never missed an opportunity to cheer her boys on. She enjoyed a loving, two decades long second marriage to Ellis Kindelon, a dashing widower from Southern California, who was a wonderful role model for her sons.
Geri filled a room with her larger-than-life personality, effervescence, quick wit, and charm. A Southern Belle through and through, she could weave a story like no other, offer a helping hand to total strangers and whip up a meal that you’d never forget. Generous to a fault, Geri selflessly turned the focus on others rather than herself and always had a positive outlook that remained intact until the end. Family gatherings were her joy and Christmas was at the top of her list. She spared no expense to spoil her family and not only gave but received what appeared to be an unending stream of gifts from those she touched and friends she gathered from all areas of her life.
Geri leaves behind an adoring plethora of friends and family including her children and grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Miles and Cleo Wallace.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three older brothers, Willard, John Jr. and Harold Stout.

DEATH OF S. C. ARRENDIELL

Schuyler Colfax Arrendiell was born in Mountain City, Tenn., November 8, 1868 and died at the Veterans' Hospital in Boise on January 5, 1926, death coming as the result of a long illness which necessitated an operation from which he never properly rallied.

Mr. Arrendiell, who came of an old Southern family, originally of French descent, grew to manhood in the place of his birth, where on February 16, 1892, he was married to Miss Mattie Morley. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Oklahoma, where they lived for fifteen years, when they moved to New Mexico. In 1912 they came to Payette, where Mrs. Arrendiell's mother Mrs. Brannock and her husband made their home.

When, in 1898, America went to war with Spain, Mr. Arrendeill made instant response to his country's need of men, serving throughout the war. Besides being a Veteran of Foreign Wars he was a member of the American Legion, and of the Masonic and K of P Orders. By profession he was a farmer, one of those men who love the soil, and who, loving it, seemed to have the power to make it yield them abundance. Although Mr. Arrendiell had no children of his own, he loved all children, and might always be found - himself never idle - with an admiring circle of little ones, who hearkened breathlessly to his wonderful tales of bird and beast, or of his own picturesque boyhood. He was a dutiful son, both to his own parents, and to his wife's mother whom he regarded as his own, a loving husband, and a friend loyal even to death. Long will his memory live in the hearts of those who knew and honored him.

Besides his widow and mother-in-law, Mr. Arrendiell is survived by four brothers and two sisters, all residents outside of the State.

The funeral will be in charge of the Masons at the Methodist Church at 2:30 Friday afternoon and interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery.

S. C. ARRENDIELL DIES AT BOISE HOSPITAL

S. C. Arrendiell, a well known and highly respected citizen of this community died at the U. S. veterans hospital at Boise Tuesday morning as the result of a lingering illness. The body was brought back to Payette Wednesday morning where the funeral will be held from the Methodist Church at 2:30 Friday afternoon.

An appropriate obituary will be published in next weeks issue of the Enterprise.
Payette Enterprise (January 14, 1926)
S. C. ARRENDIELL

A shadow of gloom was cast over the entire community when the news of the death of S. C. Arrendiell reached Payette. While his failing health had caused his friends and loved ones many anxious moments, it was hoped that he might be spared.

He was taken to the U. S. Veteran's hospital at Boise about a month ago and on December 24, underwent an operation of a very serious nature from which he never properly rallied. Death came the morning of January the fifth to relieve his suffering which was most intense.

Schuyler Colfax Arrendiell was born near Mountain City, Tennessee, November 8, 1868. He grew to manhood at this place and on February 16, 1892 was united in marriage to Mattie Morley, who with her mother, is left to mourn her loss. He is also survived by four brothers and two sisters.

They spent twelve years in Oklahoma and five in New Mexico, from which place they move to Payette where they have continued to reside.

He was a man of sterling qualities; while he enjoyed the comforts of his own home he did not hesitate to answer his country's call for men when war was declared with Spain.

He served until the end of the war and when he was honorable discharged from his Country's service he resumed his occupation until his last illness.

He bore his suffering cheerfully, and was always appreciative of the efforts made for his comfort, his wife being in constant attendance to the last.

His pleasant disposition and readiness to help those around him with a kind word as well as material assistance have made for him a large circle of friends.

He was a member of the American Legion, the Knights of Pythias Lodge and the Mason Lodge.

The funeral services were held Friday afternoon at two-thirty at the Methodist church, Rev. V. E. Hall delivery a touching tribute to the deceased. The songs were furnished by a quartet of his brothers Masons.

The Knights of Pythias and the American Legion attended the body.

The body was laid to rest in the Riverside cemetery, the burial rites being conducted by the Masonic Order.

Three Pioneers Die During Past Week
Mrs. Rachael Louisa Brannock

On April 24, 1845 a baby girl was born at Boon, North Carolina. Her parents
died while she was an infant and she was reared by foster parents. In
girlhood she was known as Rachael Louisa Hodge.

The days of her youth were those trying days of the Civil War and she lived in
the torn and bleeding Southland. It was during these trying days of terror
and strife it did not mean comfort and ease to get married. She and her
husband faced the stern problems of life with whatever courage they were able
to muster; but face it they did.

Two children were born to them; Harry, who lived until about 14 years ago, and
Mattie, now Mrs. Mattie Arrendiell who lives in Payette, Idaho.

About 1890, Mrs. Marley was married to Hilary J. Brannock, in Kentucky. They
immediately settled in Bloomington, Indiana, where they lived until 1911 when
they came to Payette. Mr. Brannock died in Payette 13 years ago.

She is survived by her only daughter, Mrs. Mattie Arrendiell, Payette, and one
great-grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted from the Landon Funeral Home on Tuesday
morning at 10:30 with the Rev. S. P. Hagler of Ontario, Oregon, officiating.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Crights, Mrs. Fenwick with Mrs. Springstun
accompanying.

Pallbearers were John Sur, E. W. Equala, Frank Satoris, Mac Cheek, H. D. Moore
and Mr. Freeman.

The deceased was one of the most highly respected and beloved ministers in this entire section and has the distinction of preaching in almost every church of the Watauga Baptist association which comprises Johnson and Carter counties. At the time of his death, He was pastor of the Union Baptist church of Cardens Bluff, having accepted the pastorate on May 11, 1913. Ordained a minister in 1906 at Hampton by the Rev. W.J. Deloach, he has served as pastor at Milligan, Limestone Cove, Little Mountain, Hunter, Winner, Carter, Stoney Creek, Harmony Baptist Church, Poplar Grove, Caldwell Baptist Church, Siam, Gap Creek, Fish Springs, Dungan's Chapel and at Hampton. In his ministerial work, he has held numerous revivals and baptized more than 2,000 converts. Following out the command of the Master, he has loved his fellowmen as himself and led a life of service, going throughout the mountainous section, helping those not only in spiritual need, but physically as well. Dark, stormy weather meant nothing to him as many times at night he has traveled miles through rain and cold to help those in need. He served as preacher and teacher to many. The Rev. Hazelwood was born on September 7, 1873. On Feb. 11, 1894, he was married to Miss Celia M. Goodwin, four children being born to this union, two daughters and two sons. It was with feelings of sorrow that this community heard the report that John E. DeLoach died at 6 o clock Saturday evening, July 30.
He had been in bad health for more than a year. Although he had shown symptoms of getting better, his death was not unexpected. He was at one time sheriff of this parish and was always a peacable, lawabiding citizen and had many friends, the number only limited by the extent of his acquaintance. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Masonic fraternities. He leaves a wife and several small children, a host of relatives and friends to mourn his death. His remains were laid to rest at Union church, six miles northeast of Winnfield Sunday evening, Rev. S. L. Morris pastor of the First Baptist church of Winnfield conducting the funeral service. To his bereaved family and relatives friends extend
heartfelt sympathy.
