William H. Williams was born on 16 Nov 1871 in Watauga County, NC, the first son of William A. "Badge" Williams. He sought employment in Washington state to support his family, who remained in North Carolina. He later abandoned his family, and it is believed that he died in British Columbia, Canada.

This picture appears to have been taken when Roy Leonard, his wife Annie and their daughter were leaving Johnson County, TN for Ostego County, NY. Worley Black accompanied them on this move. His mother and father would later join them in New York.

This picture appears to have been taken when Roy Leonard, his wife Annie and their daughter were leaving Johnson County, TN for Ostego County, NY. Worley Black accompanied them on this move. His mother and father would later join them in New York, as well as his grandmother and her husband Isaac Leonard.
