MRS. JOHN H. HINKLE
Mrs. John H. Hinkle, age 80, died at 10:30 Friday evening at her home in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Naoma Slemp, pioneer settlers of Johnson county.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Sinking Creek Baptist church, this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with interment in the Happy Valley Memorial Park.
Survivors are the husband, John Hinkle of Johnson City; three sons, Edward W. and Clyde Hinkle of Johnson City, Fred Hinkle of Jonesboro; and three daughters, Mrs. W. B. Buckles, Mrs. Stuart Lewis of Carter and Mrs. W. G. Frye of Johnson City.
Active pallbearers will be W. H. Garland, James Lothery, Fred DeVault, W. D. Ruch[sic], Mark Edwards, G. W. Ward.
