Martha S. Pope was the sister to my Grgrgrandfather W.T.D. Pope of Beaufort Co. I did notice you mentioned her mother as being Mary Pope. My records show my Grgrgrgrandmother as being Rebecca Pope. I found the gravesite of William and Rebeccas daughter Rebecca and it stated that she was their daughter on the tombstone. While in the area at Staffords Crossroads,I had one of the DeLoach boys take my wife and I way back into a field where Martha and Geo were buried along with some other Tuten family.
