    Buried:
    Ernest Walter (Walt) Campbell, 56, son of early day Rangely settlers, died at 11:35 am Saturday in his home at Nucla after a lengthy illness.
    Mr Campbell was born July 20, 1913, at Rangely. He attended high school at Delta and on Feb 8, 1932, married Mildred Templeton at Delta.
    They moved to Ruth, Nev., in 1936 and then to Nucla in 1949. After returning to Colorado, Mr. Campbell worked in numerous mines in the area as a miner and heavy equipment operator. He last worked for Union Carbide at Uravan.
    Among survivors are his mother, Mrs. Dora Ahlstrom of Provo, Utah; his wife; three sons, Ernest C. of Wichita Falls, Tex, Larry Alan of Cory, and David E. at home; three
    daughters, Mrs. A. T. (Irene) Burbridge of Nucla, Mrs. Edsel B. (Beth) Hardin of Jackson City, Tenn, and Miss Bonnie Campbell of Jackson City, Tenn; two brothers; a sister, and 14 grandchildren.

    Buried:
    Mildred E. Campbell was born on January 23, 1914 at the Templeton homestead, thirteen miles north of Nucla. She was the fifth of eight children born to Nita May Fort and Charlie Templeton.
    Mildred married Ernest Walter Campbell in January 1932. They lived in Ruth, Nevada and later on Tabeguache for several years before moving to Nucla. Walter preceded her in death.
    After Mildred's Nucla home burned down, she moved to Montrose. She spent her final days with her grandson and his wife, Robert and Dottie Burbridge, and also had the help of her daughter Irene Burbridge.
    Mildred enjoyed gardening and quilting and her job in the Relief Society.
    She also loved to arrowhead hunt with her grandchildren and to teach them the art of beadworking after gathering wood and cedarberries. She enjoyed raising chinchillas and was a firm believer in canning, raising a garden and food storage.
    Mildred had six children, three of which survive her. She also had thirty-two grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
