    Mrs. Millie Heaton, age 95, of Route 1, Shady Valley, died Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at the residence of her son, Will Walsh, after an illness of several months. She was a native of Ashe County, North Carolina, but had made her home in Johnson County the greater part of her life. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
    Survivors include four sons, Carl and Dana Walsh, Shouns, Will Walsh, Shady Valley, and Mack Walsh, West Grove, Pa.; one daughter, Mrs. Ora Cunningham, Mountain City; one brother, Charlie Johnson, Riceville; one sister, Mrs. Callie Osborne, 29 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren also survive.
    Funeral services were conducted Monday, 2:00 p.m. from the Rainbow Mennonite Church, with the Rev. David Coulard and A.N. Blevins officiating. Burial was in the Rainbow Cemetery.
    Pall-bearers[sic] were friends and neighbors.
    Flower-bearers[sic] were ladies of the church and neighbors.
    Lewis Gentry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
