She and Marion Snyder were divorced prior to 1900. In the 1900 and 1910 Johnson County, TN Censuses, she is listed a a servant for James G. Butler. Her daughter Elizabeth is listed as a boarder in that household. In the 1910 census, her son Jessie and his family are in the adjacent census listing.
