Fred was born on January 1, 1946 and passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009.

Fred was a resident of Elizabethton, Tennessee at the time of his passing.

He was a 1964 graduate of Elizabethton High School.

He is survived by his wife Janey.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 5th at the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway Percy Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Trivette officiating. Music will be under the direction of Allan Foster and Edwin Taylor. Interment will follow in the Slagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel prior to the service. Friends may also call at the residence at other times.
