Neal C. Lewis, 52, died at his home on Stoney Creek Sunday afternoon at four o'clock.
Funeral services will be held from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. William L. Bowers at Hunter, Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock with the Rev. Arthur Roberts officiating. Interment will be in the Academy Cemetery.
Mr. Lewis is survived by five children: Albert and Tom Lewis, Mrs. William L. Bowers, Mrs. Roy Collins, and Mrs. Floyd Dugger. Other survivors are two brothers, Andy and Isaac Lewis; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Ann Bowers, Mrs. Mollie Lewis, Mrs. Mattie Bowers; also a number of grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Everert Bowers, Monroe Bowers, Emery Bowers, Alf Williams, Charlie Oliver, Mike Williams and Stant Hicks.
Flower bearers will be selected from friends attending the funeral.

MRS. ELIZA LEWIS
Mrs. Eliza Lewis, age 44, died at her home at Watauga Valley, Wednesday morning at 9:30, after a prolonged illness of several months. Survivors are her husband, Neal Lewis, three daughters, Mrs. Grace Collins, Mrs. Ada Dugger and Miss Anna Lewis, two sons, Robert and Tom. Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist church Thursday afternoon 2 o'clock. The Rev. G. W. Matney officiated. Interment will be at the Kits Miller Cemetery.
