GRANVILLE HEATON
Granville Heaton, 87, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. Montgomery, Route 1, Elizabethton, Friday at 8:30 p.m. after a short illness.
Mr. Montgomery[sic] was a member of the Miller's Chapel Christian Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Montgomery; one son, Gaston Heaton, Route 2, Shell Creek, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Church on Walnut Mountain with the Rev. John Mathis officiating. Burial will be made in the Walnut Mountain Cemetery.
