Married

Dr. F.L. Wisdom, one of our most prominent physicians, and Miss Ella Lou
Chastain, of Cuthbert, were married at the Baptist church in that town Tuesday
morning. There was quite a large number of attendants, and the church was
crowded with the friends of the bride to witness the happy event. Henry
Lumpkin and Hamp Wisdom, son of the groom, were the only persons who
accompanied the doctor from this place. The bridal party arrived here on the
afternoon train Tuesday, and were met by a large number of friends. Dr. Wisdom
gave a reception Tuesday evening at his home, to which a few friends and
relatives were invited.

The Buena Vista string band serenaded the doctor and his bride at their home
during the reception.

Francis married Annie E. (Wisdom) about 1868 in Marion County, , , Georgia. Annie was born on 2 Dec 1845 in Georgia, , , ; died on 24 Jul 1886 in Marion County, , , Georgia; was buried in First Baptist Church, , Marion County, Georgia. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
